We keep it confidential
Your application is read by us and shown to nobody outside us. Participants are not named publicly, either during the programme or afterwards.
The terms
In force from 31 August 2026. This text covers the application and this site. What applies during the programme is written into an agreement with each company taken in.
To the applicationHow we handle your details
Every point below stands together with the reason it exists. If any of it is unclear, write to [email protected] and we will explain it.
Sending an application costs nothing and binds you to nothing. It is an enquiry from you and material for us, and the reason is that the terms for taking part belong in the agreement with each company taken in.
We answer yes, no, or that we want to know more. If the answer is yes, the next step is a conversation and then an agreement, and both parties remain free until the agreement is signed. As long as both are free, both can think clearly.
Applications are open all year, so you send yours when the text reads the way you want it. The reason is that a text written against a deadline rarely shows what a company actually is.
We set no response time, and the reason is simple: the time should go into reading the application properly.
Every application is read by a person here, and the answer comes from someone who has read the whole text.
The confirmation with your reference arrives as soon as the application goes in, so that you know the text is with us.
If it has been quiet for longer than you think is reasonable, do write and ask how it is going. We will not take it badly.
Your application is read by us and shown to nobody outside us. Participants are not named publicly, either during the programme or afterwards.
You keep every right to what you describe. We take no licence to your idea or your material by reading an application, because nobody should have to weigh an application against what it costs in rights.
We accept confidential information only once a non disclosure agreement is in place, because confidentiality should be regulated before it is promised. Describe what you are building, and save the sensitive parts until the agreement is signed.
The amount we work with is 500,000 SEK per company, in Swedish kronor, the same in Maraton and in Facklan. What the capital means and what applies across the four months is stated in the agreement with each company taken in.
The agreement is written per company, because two companies rarely stand in the same place when they arrive. The terms live in that document, and they are not set on a website.
If you are applying as an investor or a partner, the same order applies. The site describes how you get in touch with us. We give no investment advice and promise no return.
We build for people who may need it to actually work, so accessibility is built in rather than checked afterwards.
The site is built to work with a keyboard, with a screen reader and with enlarged text, and motion is reduced for anyone who has set that in their system. We get as far as we can, and something may still be in the way.
If you run into an obstacle, we want to know. Write to [email protected]. Tell us where you were and what stopped you, and ideally which browser and which assistive technology you were using. A few lines are enough.
We fix what we can fix and tell you what we are doing about the rest. An obstacle you report helps the next person who reaches the same place.
We change this text when the programme changes, and the page carries the date it is in force from. If we have changed something that affects an application you have already sent, the version that stood here when you sent it applies, because that is the one you responded to.
The site may be down for a while during maintenance or when something breaks. If your application does not go through you get an error message, so that you know the difference between sent and silence. Try once more. If it still fails, email us the text instead.
The text and the illustrations on the site are ours. The photographs are CC0 or public domain. If you want to use any of our material, ask us first, because we like to know where our name appears, and the answer is usually yes.

Swedish law applies to the application and to the site, because the company and the programme are here. If we disagree about something we try to resolve it in conversation, and anything that still has to be settled is heard by a Swedish court.
The responsible company is Daylited AB, company registration number 559593-4240, currently registered as Startgropen 1380 AB while the name change goes through. The sessions in person are held in Stockholm or Gothenburg, and the rest of the programme runs remotely.
The contact address is [email protected], for every question about the terms, about applying or about the site.
Applications are open all year and cost nothing. Write a few lines in your own words about what you are building. A person reads them and answers you.
