How we handle your details
In force from 31 August 2026. This text describes the applications on this site and nothing else.
The terms for applyingTo the application
You write to us in order to apply for a place. We use what you write to read the application, to answer you and to hold the conversation that follows.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Daylited AB, company registration number 559593-4240, currently registered as Startgropen 1380 AB while the name change goes through. The company stands behind the GADDR family and carries StiveStride. The sessions in person are held in Stockholm or Gothenburg, and the rest of the programme runs remotely.
You reach us at [email protected]. The same address takes every question about this text, and a person reads it.
What we collect, and why

The fields are the ones in the form, and nothing more. We collect no information about you from any other source and we buy no registers.
The legal basis
The basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation. You get in touch in order to apply, and the processing exists so that we can handle exactly that.
The confirmation that reaches your email is part of the same handling. It goes through our own mail server and carries your reference.
If we ever wanted to use something you have written for anything other than handling the application, we would ask you first, and you can say no without it affecting your application.
The support field is optional
The form for companies and the form for you applying as a person both ask what support you need and which group you are applying to. Leave both empty and the application is complete anyway.
If you tick accessibility adjustments or language support, or apply to Facklan, we use that for one thing only: building the programme so that it works for you. A session in person should be in a venue you can get into, and a conversation should be held in a language you are strong in.
The answer does not affect the assessment. We read what you are building, and the support is planned once a place has been offered.
We treat the answer with care, because it sits close to things that are private. It is visible only to those of us who plan the programme, it is never passed on, and it is deleted along with the rest of the application under the same time limit.

What we do not do
No machine decides your application
People read everything that comes in. No automated decisions are made about you and no profiling is carried out.
The details stay with us
We never sell details and we do not hand them to advertising networks. The sponsors are not allowed to read the applications.
The bot guards do not count you
The form measures how quickly it is filled in and carries one field that should stay empty. Both exist to stop bulk submissions. Your IP address is not saved in the application, it is used only in the moment for the same purpose.
How long the details are kept, and where
The application is kept while we handle it, and for at most twelve months after we have made a decision. Then it is deleted. If you want it deleted sooner, we do that without delay.
The applications sit on our own servers in Sweden. A backup is taken on the same machine, and the copy is encrypted with our own keys before it is mirrored to our second machine.
The plain text never leaves the first server, and both machines are ours. The details therefore stay in Sweden, with us, and so do the keys.
To ask for deletion sooner, write to [email protected], ideally with the reference from your confirmation. We confirm once it is done.
Keeping watch
Your rights
You have the right to find out what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to have the processing restricted, to object to it and to receive your details in a format you can take with you.
Write to [email protected] and describe what you want. The General Data Protection Regulation gives us one month to answer a request like that, and we stay inside it.
If you think we have handled your details wrongly, you have the right to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, imy.se. You are welcome to write to us first, since putting it right directly is usually the fastest route.
Common questions about your details
Do I have to say that I need support?
No. The field is optional and the application is complete without it.
If you fill it in, we get a chance to plan the programme around you from the start instead of after the fact.
Do the sponsors see my application?
No. GADDR and Daylited sponsor the platform, servers, tools and workshops. The applications are read by us.
Do you save anything if I change my mind before sending?
No. Nothing leaves your browser until you press send. The site saves no drafts and measures nothing you do on the page.
Can I apply again if I get a no?
Yes, applications are open all year. If you want the old application deleted before you send a new one, tell us and we do that first.
What does the confirmation email say?
That the application arrived, and your reference. The email goes through our own mail server to the address you gave.
Want a copy of your application, or want it deleted?
Write to [email protected] from the address you applied with, ideally with the reference from your confirmation. You do not have to explain why. We send you what we hold or delete it, and confirm once it is done.
